Symbols Exhibition
The ‘Symbols’ exhibition is due to open to the public from Saturday, 19th March and will run through till the end of May. Long known for its focus on diverse and exceptional art, the Sultan of Lancaster aims to attract more international artists to Lancaster during 2005.
“I am proud and honoured to have this opportunity as my work will be exhibited in the United Kingdom for the first time”, said an excited Kath Armour. “I have been told that there is a substantial art loving community in Lancaster and the surrounding areas, and that the Sultan of Lancaster Art Gallery is an ideal venue for getting the work viewed and appreciated – so I’m really looking forward to my trip. I would also like to take the opportunity to thank Usman Munshi at the Sultan of Lancaster Food Court & Art Gallery, for providing the gallery space and Carol Bennett for co-ordinating the exhibition promotion on the UK side”.
The ‘Symbols’ exhibition will run until the end of May and will be open to the public between Sunday to Thursday from 10am to 5pm, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 10pm. Admission is free and visitors will have the chance to have a bite to eat in the Food Court.
