The food is gorgeous and really fresh. The vegetarian/vegan selections are varied and tasty and the staff are helpful, welcoming and polite. My favourite Indian restaurant in Lancaster.

The Sultan is a great place to eat and I always make a point of taking out-of-towners there. From the friendly welcome at the door, to the great atmosphere, swift and efficient service it has everything you can ask of in a restaurant, especially as the food is great, with a wide range of veggie options. With the range of delicious drinks available alcoholic drinks are not missed.Date of Posting: 24 February 2006
